I thought this was funny.. the dogs do not know which ones to go after.

I thought this was to plain.

\
Changed it to this..

Finally put the Tile down in a diamond pattern like this. The same pattern above is what is going to be in the middle.

This is the floor while I was trying to work out the pattern. I must have picked up and laid 9 or more different patterns.

Some of the chalk lines and outlines on the backerboard to layout the tile.

Ups and more downs....

Who knew hat the market would fall through my basement and I would watch my hard earned wealth erode away... slowly but Very Surely. First... Bear Stearns.... One of my first stock purchases goes from a $90 share price to rock bottom $4... OVERNIGHT. Yeah there goes some of the money right there... Now all my other stocks have of course plummeted and I sit here and wonder how much of a rebound and how long will it be before I see a return on my investment.

On another note I had an ERIE incident last weekend. Last Sunday to be exact. Driving down the interstate I notice traffic all the sudden coming to a halt. I look down my lane and all I see is a motorcycle just coming to a rest. The rest of the scene is pretty much the same as was my accident a few months ago except for one thing. I had this guys hand and held his head up waiting the long 25 min for the ambulance to arrive.  I could have walked him to the hospital. We where that close.

Well, after seeing that happen and smelling the alcohol on his breathe I have really a
quired a strong dislike for the "crotch rocket" crowd.

This economy is CRAP. I am really upset and a little down about this. I am going to post some new pictures on the almost finished kitchen now to make me feel better.

Here are the cabinents out ready for the rest of the flooring to be ripped out. This is really a slow process since I am being so lazy about it.

Eeeerie sky...

I took this a few weeks ago around 2100. It was right before a big storm that blew through here.

Meet Jack

Jack is the newest addition to the Obergas household. He is a 17 week old giant schnauzer that I got two weeks ago. Fitz is two years plus and as you can see Jack is almost as big as him. The difference between the two is that Jack is an American coated Schnauzer (softer less likely to loose hair in clumps), Fitz is a German coated schnauzer (more wiry coat and tends to loose hair more often.) The thing about it is that Jack will be about 30-40 lbs bigger than my first boy. More pictures to come...

A picture does not justice

This picture of the damage does what happened or how bad it was in person no justice.
