Ok, now I know the war effort in Iraq has turned into a sore spot for most people here stateside. But, we still have our friends family and loved ones over there following our Commander in Chiefs orders whether they agree with them or not. I am not posting here to ge people to have an opinion on the war effort over there or want to hear what you guys think. I am posting here to try and get help.
Jason, one of my friends, someone I grew up with, had classes with, ran with, who worked for me for a short stint before college, is in Iraq serving our country. He is a platoon commander. So I have taken on the idea of adopting this platoon and sending these guys a care package. When I say guys I mean young men, to a total of 55....
I asked Jason for some input on to what he wanted or needed himself or the guys and he asked for snacks for when they are out on patraol. I rarely ask for help, BUT I would like to supply his platoon with a present not just for Jason himself.
If you would like to donate you can hit my paypal account.

Or shoot me an email with what you would like to contribute to the care package I am going to send them.
I think that we should support the people over there even if we do not agree with them being there. These guys could lay down their life at any moment so I think it is only right to show them some appreciation and gratitude even if we are not directly seeing the results.
With or without your help I will be sending this package to the guys over there.
I only hope that it helps them out as much as they are helping us. Please let me know so I can get this out in a few weeks."
