Break In?

I am beginning to wonder about APD. I came home yesterday to my house grabbed the mail and began to walk up the steps to my house when I noticed something strange. A chair had been put in front of my door. At first I thought the gardener was waiting for me to come home. Then I grabbed my keys and began to open my door when my heart sank..... It appears that a crowbar had been put through my door at an attempt to break into my house. I walked Right off the porch and dialed the police. I had not received a call from my security company as of yet but who knows if it had just happened or it was long in the past of the day. It was dark around my house so I walked to my neighbors and waited for the police. Once they arrived and I tried to rustle Fitz up to no response I went in the house. He was not a happy camper and was not barking. He was actually scared. After I calmed him down and the police cleared my house I started to access the damage. I needed a new door. Of course the wrong time for this. Not the best thing to do right now but I do not have a choice.
