This is the main screen on the pump and it tells you everything that is going on. The time... duh of course.. The rate an hour at which insulin is going into my body and the amount of insulin that is left inside the cartridge on the pump. I change the cartridge and the insertion site every three days. I put extra insulin in my body at every meal. Depending on how many carbohydrates I eat at that meal and what my blood glucose or sugars levels are before the mean. The pump calculates all the needed information and spits out how much insulin I should take for the meal. Posted by Picasa
